Joint OUTREACH Day with Katy Chinese Community Church on Saturday, July 12 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Gather at CBC by 9:00 am. Devotional and Training. Depart for Eden Pointe refugee apartment. Kids Ministry
Our Sunday Kids Program is designed to help the next generation grow in God's Word through worship, engaging lessons, and age-appropriate activities.
- In July, kids will engage in service projects to learn what it means to be part of the church family.
- In August, the KidMin team will pause for prepping and planning for the new ministry year; there will be no 2nd hour (11:15 am - 12:15 pm) Kids Program that month. Thank you for investing in the ministries to the next generation!

Children’s Sunday School currently has openings for 2nd - 3rd grade teachers and nursery help. For brothers and sisters interested in helping, please contact Geraldine: Geraldinel@cbchouston.org, the church office @ 713.461.0963 or fill out the Kids Ministry Interest Form.

Parking Lot Spaces Reserved On July 20: Please note that on Sunday, July 20, all cars parked in the first two rows of spaces in front of the Sanctuary must depart by 2:00 pm to allow parking for the buses returning from Camp Impact.
Discovery Camp and Camp Impact will be on July 20-23, 2025 (D-Camp - MS) and July 23-27, 2025 (Impact - HS). Dcamp is open to incoming 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade students. Impact is open to incoming 10th, 11th, 12th and graduated seniors. The location this year is Boxwoods (brand new site) by Camp Cho Yeh. Regular registration ends June 15, late registration deadline is June 22. Registration open online at https://en.hcchome.org/dcampimpact2025.

Rainbow Galveston Day Trip $11.00

We will be visiting the Galveston Railroad Museum, housed in the former Santa Fe Railroad station, at 25th and Strand in Galveston. Lunch on your own at Shrimp N Stuff in downtown Galveston. Cost: $11.00 per person for tickets and tip (tickets are nonrefundable). Our last stop is at Rose's Seafood in Seabrook, for you to stock up on fresh seafood (shrimp, fish, clams, blue crabs, oysters, etc). They provide all the ice you need. Bring your ice chests or coolers; make sure your cooler does not leak. The bus will depart from CBC parking lot at 8:30 am and return to CBC at ~ 4:30 pm. AWANA Ministry Fall Kickoff 2025-2026 will be on Friday, August 22. Awana meets on Friday evenings at 7:30 pm in the FLC. AWANA is for Kindergarten to 5th grades. With the $20.00 registration fee, kids will receive the handbook, a drawstring bag and emblems. Council Time, Handbook Time and Game Time begins at 7:30 pm. View Awana Calendar.

We will have a Child Dedication and Baptism Service during the English Worship Service on Sunday, August 31. If your child has accepted Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord and is ready for baptism, reach out to the church office or Geraldine for next steps.
